Whenever I try to open a document through the Places => Recent Documents entry in about 90% of the cases it is empty. I never clean it and I don't knoa tht I have anything running that would clean it. As a matter of fact occasionally I'll get to see the list after creting a new file (and the list will be longer than just that new file!!)

Any ideas what may be going wrong here?

I tried the 'clean recent files' button and since then haven't seen a single recent document. It's simply not working.
Can anybody tell me where to start looking for a sollution?

I've since done a clean install and my recent files worked perfectly for a couple of weeks. It is gone again though and I'll be darned if I do a new reinstall just to get that back !

Hasn't anybody else experienced the same problem?
Doesn't anyone know where to start looking for a sollution?
