How do you install Gnome 2.10 using the sourses??????

You need to unpack then compile it. There are usually 'install' instructions in amongst the files. The most common syntax is: <./configure> then <make> then switch to root and do <make install>. Check the install instructions first as there may be other options or things that you need to do.
