Gnome
 

Gnome won't work!!
If I start a session under Gnome, I get lots of windows with a big red X, no text , and I have to crash the computer to get out.
I tried reinstalling from the RH CDs, to no avail.
I have a slow connection. Do I really have to download everything from Gnome.org to get it working, or put differently, what is essential?
KDE works fine, I just wanted to try Gnome out.
