Question gnash question

If I build Gnash NOW, and then install kde LATER, would I need to rebuild gnash in order for KDE to support it?

(also would I need to add any flags, such as --enable-gui(fluxbox), for gnash to work in fluxbox?)

It depends.

If you want to build it with KDE as the GUI (Qt), then you'd have to have KDE installed before you did this. Otherwise you can build it with another GUI and it would still work after you install KDE. See the README for all the GUIs you can use.
