Gnash Playback Audio Only for Low-Spec Computer?

Hey, I am trying to find a way to view youtube on my ibook g3. It can't playback the video because its too slow, but is there a way to get gnash to playback the audio only on flash videos?

Can you play the videos offline, like download them, then play them ? Check the gnash options anyway, I don't know if there is such an option, right-click on the video.

If that would work, I use the "1-click youtube video downloader", it adds a link on youtube to download the videos in various formats.
