gmplayer vo error on dual monitors

greetings,

i am running fc4 and am trying to get gmplayer to run correctly, whenever i try to play anything i get vo error:

vo_xvmc: X-Video extension 2.2
vo_xvmc: No X-Video MotionCompensation Extension on :0.0
Error opening/initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device.

i have my config setup for:

# Write your default config options here!
vo=xvidix
ao=alsa

i am thinking it is a problem that i am running dual monitors, but i dont understand enough to figure this out, i looked at mplayer documentation and i dont know what alot means unfortunatly.

anyone have any this before? or know how to get it working?

thanks.

Mplayer and Gmplayer use different config files...

Try loading your video with mplayer from the command line first using different -vo devices... for a list of available devices use:
$ mplayer -vo help

Example:
$ mplayer -vo xv your_movie.mpg

Once you find a device that works check and match that device with the gmplayer config:
$ cat ~/.mplayer/gui.conf

Could not tell you... I don't use SMB... but if you have access to the file I don't see why it would not work... You may want to cache the file more, however.
