Skin not found ( default ).

I've compile the source with ./configure --enable-gui
and extract the font to /usr/local/share/mplayer/font/ and skin to /usr/local/share/mplayer/skin/
Is there something I missed ? Thanks.

It's looking for:
/usr/local/share/mplayer/Skin/default/skin

If that file is NOT there, it's going to fail Check the board for more info on getting a file there, but the skinny:
ln -sf /usr/local/share/mplayer/Skin/YourFavoriteSkin /usr/local/share/mplayer/Skin/default

HTH

Cool

Check the config in Gmplayer, might just be a small setting to get it working... Is there an error, or does it just not play?

Cool
