gmone inbox monitor locking my pop mail server

Hey guys... i got this GREAT tool with my fedora core installation.
ts one of those you got mail things that livs in the applet pannel.

anyway, even though i set it to check mail every 15 minutes, it seems to be constantly logged on, whenever i try to launch thunderbird (mail client)
i get logon errors, basically, im already logged in with the inbox monitor, so thunderbird cant recieve my mail.

is there any workaround for this ?
maybe a command that will force the inbox monitor to log off
that i can put in the "execute on double click" box ???
