glic-dependence !!!


i had download glibc's latest update rpm and the problem was i was unable to installed that glibc-* packages cause by dependences problem. I had tried rpm -Fvh, rpm -Uvh neither works!
Is there anyway i could update my glibc ?

Update and install the dependencies it needs in order to work properly.

Depending on your system/Glibc version, the list could be large or short. Often you just need to upgrade glibc-common, glibc, and glibc-devel. Unless you are making a MAJOR upgrade (say from version 2.3.2 to 2.3.3) in which case you may need to even upgrade gcc.

BTW rpmfind.net is the best way to find rpm dependecies (by file or package name!)
