glibc updates

does anyone know where i can find a glibc update?

I've searcherd on http://www.google.com/linux/ and wasn't able to find anything to suit my needs. I need at least v2.2.4

You could try http://www.rpmfind.net or get apt-get and go that way (see my sig)..
