glib not found...???? HELP! PLEASE!


Mandrake 10.1, Fresh install. INfact I installed it lastnight befor bed... I went to isntall xchat today.. and unfortunatly it has told me that "cannot find glib"... WTF! Here is the exact error it gives me and a couple lines befor it. Can someone please offer me some assistance in correcting this problem.

You need the development package of glib installed e.g. glib2-devel (or something similar).
