GLIB needed to install centericq - STILL NEED HELP

Configuring centericq
Code:
# ./configure
(checking for a lot of things)
checking for glib-config... no
checking for GLIB - version >= 1.2.0... no
*** The glib-config script installed by GLIB could not be found
*** If GLIB was installed in PREFIX, make sure PREFIX/bin is in
*** your path, or set the GLIB_CONFIG environment variable to the
*** full path to glib-config.
configure: error: glib is required in order to compile centericq - download it from ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/gtk
And then, in the specified url, i can find a README. In there, it says that there should be a "binary/" folder.

Just help me get glib, please

You didn't mention your distribution. Please fill that information to your profile.

centericq 4.12.0-1 doesn't depend on libglib.

Ok, so now I have installed pkg and now I'm one step further.
I do ./config in the glib folder and after a while it says
Code:
config.status: error: cannot find input file: build/win32/dirent/Makefile.in
.
What to do then?

I have now filled that I'm using Red Hat Linux 8.0.

The link leads to a debian-site, will it work on Red Hat?

I don't see a mention for libglib in the upstream release either.
Where did you got those sources? http://konst.org.ua/centericq/

(btw there is a readymade rpm package available too in the same site)
