glftpd - freeze when downloading

I'm using glftpd v2.0 from glftpd.at. I've set it up, all running good. Uploading works fine. I've mounted my disks in the /site dir, and there I also have the /incoming folder. Uploading to /incoming works fine. When I'm downloading from any of the mounted disks, the whole box freezes, and I'm forced to reboot.

Running slackware 10 on i686 if it matters.

Anyone heard anything like this? Could fsck fix anything? (How do I run fsck during boot?)

thanks in advance
