gkrellm install on mandrake?!?
 
Hey guys I am trying to install gkrellm and i just installed mandrake 9.1 and i know nothing about installing on a linux system and i was wondering if i could get some help on it. Where do i start. I have downloaded it and I don't see and exe ( i know they don't have those on linux ) but thats all that i know to do so what is the = way of installing things on linux or mandrake for that matter thanks for your help in advance

gkrellm comes with the 3 cds. It's probably just not installed yet. Go to mandrake control-center -> software management ->add software. Search for gkrellm, select it and then click install. It will get installed for you and a menu entry will get created (you might have to logoff before you see the new entry).
There might be an updated version available from mandrake. If you want to upgrade, go to software mangement -> update and it will show what updates are available for download.
