gkrellm as panel in KDE
 

I am using KDE, and I have just installed gkrellm. It's very good, but I would like to be able to use it as a panel. There is the "set window type to be dock or panel" option, but this does not seem to work with KDE. Has anyone managed to do this?

Note: By "panel" I mean "part of the screen which apps won't go into when they're maximised".

Ok all I did was set it like you said. I went into the options and checked it. How did you install gkrellm. did you do amke and mae install as root?
