gkrellm and second fan

First gkrellm showed my second fan speed ok. Then after a few minutes it started to switch between 0 and the normal speed. Now it shows just 0 while I'm sure my fan is working cause I opened my PC to check. Also the normal sensors command shows this (gkrellm is just graphics for that isn't it?)

I checked in windows and that program recognizes the second fan and speed still. So the hardware is still OK. Anyone have any ideas why it just stopped working?

Can't really help you except to say I had a similar problem. One of my case fans was correctly detected with read-out when I first installed gkrellm, but after a day or so went down to zero (fan is still working).

The only advice I can give is to play around with the "factor" and "offset" options for your fan in Builtins - Sensors - Setup in gkrellm

Offset is greyed out for my fans. I think the problem is with lm-sensors cuase that shows 0 as well for RPM. Thanks for the info then I'll just not put it on.
