Gkrellm

I have a quick question regarding gkrellm. When I start KDE 3, gkrellm automaticly loads 4 times. Does anybody knows why this happens?

yeah, its a problem with your KDE settings

somewhere it "remembered" you desktop settings, and "remembered" that you had 4 gkrellms open

or thats my guess

I never had 4 gkrellms open in one session, but do you know where those settings are stored?

The kde session settings are "remembered" in the $HOME/.kde/config/ksmserver file ( hmmm not sure).

Just delete the file and then see the difference

I have not used kde3 but i have heard that the kde settings is stored in .kde3 directory and not in .kde directory.
plz check the directory .kde3/config for the file ksmserver
