give a parameter or string by default to the prompt after booting from CD/DVD

Dear All,

I am trying to give a parameter or string by default to the prompt after booting from CD/DVD after modifying isolinux.cfg file

For this I am able to successfully alter the boot.iso present in RHEL+CENTOS DVDs using the below command

mkisofs -o /new.iso -b isolinux/isolinux.bin -c isolinux/boot.cat -no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 4 -boot-info-table -J -R -V disks .

But, when I am trying to alter the Netbackup BMR iso file it does not has boot.cat file and also giving me below errors.

These are the contents of iso file
Code:
$ ls -lrth
total 96K
drwxr-xr-x 9 vikas vikas 4.0K Mar  8 18:17 etc
drwxr-xr-x 3 vikas vikas 4.0K Mar  8 18:17 dev
-r--r--r-- 1 vikas vikas 2.0K Mar  8 18:17 catalog
drwxr-xr-x 2 vikas vikas 4.0K Mar  8 18:17 bin
drwxr-xr-x 2 vikas vikas 4.0K Mar  8 18:17 3PPCD
drwxr-xr-x 2 vikas vikas 4.0K Mar  8 18:17 isolinux
drwxr-xr-x 3 vikas vikas 4.0K Mar  8 18:17 opt
drwxr-xr-x 2 vikas vikas 4.0K Mar  8 18:17 mnt
drwxr-xr-x 2 vikas vikas 4.0K Mar  8 18:17 lib64
drwxr-xr-x 2 vikas vikas 4.0K Mar  8 18:17 lib
lrwxrwxrwx 1 vikas vikas    7 Mar  8 18:17 tmp -> var/tmp
-rw-r--r-- 1 vikas vikas 1.6K Mar  8 18:17 srtData.xml
-r--r--r-- 1 vikas vikas  797 Mar  8 18:17 srtData.txt
-r-xr-xr-x 1 vikas vikas  100 Mar  8 18:17 server.info
drwxr-xr-x 2 vikas vikas 4.0K Mar  8 18:17 sbin
dr-xr-xr-x 2 vikas vikas 4.0K Mar  8 18:17 rr_moved
drwxr-xr-x 2 vikas vikas 4.0K Mar  8 18:17 proc
drwxr-xr-x 9 vikas vikas 4.0K Mar  8 18:18 usr
-rwxr-xr-x 1 vikas vikas  23K Mar  8 18:18 utilityFunctions
drwxr-xr-x 7 vikas vikas 4.0K Mar  8 18:18 var
And thes are the contents of isolinux folder, please note there is no boot.cat file here.
Code:
$ ls -l isolinux/
total 24100
-r--r--r-- 1 vikas vikas     4284 Mar  8 18:17 banner.img
-r--r--r-- 1 vikas vikas       16 Mar  8 18:17 boot.msg
-r--r--r-- 1 vikas vikas 22677044 Mar  8 18:17 initrd.img
-rw-r-xr-- 1 vikas vikas        7 Mar  8 18:17 initrd.size
-r--r--r-- 1 vikas vikas    10036 Mar  8 18:17 isolinux.bin
-rw-r-xr-- 1 vikas vikas      266 Mar  8 18:17 isolinux.cfg
-r--r--r-- 1 vikas vikas  1932316 Mar  8 18:17 vmlinuz
I am unable to dig this error.
Code:
$ /usr/bin/mkisofs -o $HOME/new.iso -b isolinux/isolinux.bin -c isolinux/boot.cat -no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 4 -boot-info-table -J -R -V disks .
INFO: UTF-8 character encoding detected by locale settings.
        Assuming UTF-8 encoded filenames on source filesystem,
        use -input-charset to override.
Using RR_MO000 for  /rr_moved (rr_moved)
/usr/bin/mkisofs: Error: '(NULL POINTER)' and './rr_moved' have the same Rock Ridge name 'rr_moved'.
/usr/bin/mkisofs: Unable to sort directory
If I remove "rr_moved" directory and does not include "-c isolinux/boot.cat" in my mkisofs command, a bootable iso is created but it is around 40 MB less than the original iso image.

Any idea how to get through this error ?

This can't be but the only difference I see is the _ in rr_moved.

And/or ./rr_moved is relative so is it relative to the wrong place?

By "relative", you mean link file , right ?

No, it was not a link file.
