GIMP - Rotate image arbitrarily

Is there a way to rotate images arbitrarily in GIMP? The only options I see are 90, 180, and 270 degrees.

you are looking at the "Image/transforms/rotate menu".

There is another menu labeled "Tools/Transform Tools/Transform", or Shift-T. The rotate tool is the default tool. Your pointer will change to two curved arrows and when you click on your image, a dialog will open with a slider where you can set any angle to rotate.

Another way to do it is to open the "tools options" dialog and clicking on the "rotate" button.
