gimp patch
i have red hat 9 and am trying to upgrade my gimp (which is currently 1.2.3)
i downloaded the patch which upgrades it from 1.2.3 - 1.2.4 from the gimp site
i extracted that file but all that was inside it was some source code file called ¨patch-1.2.3-1.2.4¨
i dont wanna download the latest gimp itself cause i want to learn how to install these patches
i have no idea what to do with this file so could anyone please help me out in installing this gimp patch.
