here ist the complete way to install appollon


1. uninstall all rpm for apollon, gift and any protocoll as sugested above
2. go to the gift webpage: http://gift.sourceforge.net/docs.php...tall-unix.html
and see what prerequisit rpms are asked.
3.1.1. ZLib
3.1.2. libltdl
3.1.3. Berkeley Database (libdb)
3.1.4. libmagic
3.1.5. libvorbis
3.1.6. ImageMagick
Install now all thouse programs...
3. now you can use the allinonce installation and it will install properly apollon and gift and all selected protocol
4. enjoy

maybe reinstall it using :
rpm -i --force whatevever-you-reinstall.rpm
