Good Evening
So here is a little preview for my problem. I am runing Mandrake 10.0 and i tried to install giFT. First i tried to do it through the urpmi option and it installed it without a problem, but then it just wouldn"t start. The message that i was getting at first was that the Gnutella.la couldn"t be found and after messing with it a little, the error message was " i don"t know why but giFTd just couldn"t start, well something like that. OK, I uninstaled it and then tried to install it from the tag.gz file.Now when i am trying to ./configure it gives the folowing error message

*** /usr/local, or /usr/pkg). If that doesn't work, check config.log.
checked that log wat it say that the following library is needed i got that from the error message. OK then i tried to locate ltdl that what it say:
The following packages contain ltdl:
libltdl3
libltdl3-devel
then
[root@80 gift-0.11.7]# urpmi libltdl3
Everything already installed
[root@80 gift-0.11.7]# updatedb -c

Same error what am i doing wrong?
