giFT --> Apollon issue...

i've installed the basic giFT, then i installed apollon - the most known GUI of giFT, and now i write "apollon" in console or in KDE's "Run Program" and it doesn't works in both...
what to do?

Type 'strace apollon' and see what that shows.Maybe you can find the problem with that.

locate apollon

Try /usr/local/kde/bin/apollon - that's where it was installed on my SuSE 9 system

EDIT: For people using SuSE you also need to do:

cp /usr/local/kde/share/icons/* /etc/opt/kde3/share/icons/ -r

as root in order for the icons to be available, as SuSE keeps its files in strange places (compared to other distros I've used)
