Ghemical RPM installs but won't work in Mandriva 2006

Hi all,
I am trying to get ghemical 1.01 or 1.02 running on Mandriva 2006
The rpm installs ok, but when run I get this error.

ghemical: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/liblapack.so.3: undefined symbol: _gfortran_filename

Is there anything I can do to correct this?

do you have gcc-fortran installed?

Hi,
thank you for your reply and your interest in my problem. according to my rpmlist (rpm -qa | sort > rpmlist.txt)
I have gcc-gfortran-4.0.1-5mdk installed along with gcc-4.0.1-5mdk
