Question Getting system sound on a motherboard

I got someone to burn Damn Small Linux for me. My computer seems like it bit the dust. I took everything out except the video card and cpu and still, I see nothing when booting. I tried other video cards, so my guess is that the mobo died. Not long ago, I was able to boot the Solaris cd on it, but that failed. That had nothing to do with my computer being bad, just that Solaris hardware support for x86 sucks out of the box. I need to plug in the computer speaker for system sound, but I do not know which prongs are the correct ones to plug it into since I have many. I have been looking through my motherboard's owner's manual for answers, but I couldn't find it. It's probably there somewhere. I tried searching it and looking at the table of contents. My motherboards model is abit-be6-2. I think this is correct. http://www.abit-usa.com/products/mb/...es=1&model=118

Umm, you could try yanking the tiny battery on the mother board and holding down the power button for a few minutes (with the computer unplugged, of course)... aside from that, I don't think you're asking a linux software question.

Page 2-13 of the manual (at least the one that I downloaded)

Nevermind, the San Antonio Texas Linux User Group SATLUG helped, and I got everything working fine. I think the reason I was having too much trouble is because a hard drive went out.
