Getting rid of XFCE4-panel...using xfce4 and Ubuntu
I'm using XFCE4 on Ubuntu.
Which file would I need to comment out some lines in so that "xfce4-panel" does not load upon startup? I tried [apt-get remove xfce4-panel] and I couldn't even log in because my session would crash. I had to reinstall the panel to load xfce4 successfully. I don't see an obvious place to get rid of the panel at the bottom. thanks |
There's an easier way if you don't want to go about configuring your start-up files. You can just kill it with top.
