Getting Mozilla Firefox to run as default browser

I've just switched from Konqueror to Firefox because I was having some javascript problems. I love Firefox.

I'd like to get Firefox as my primary internet browser. Whenever I'm outside of Firefox and I click a link it automatically starts up Konqueror. Can I change it so it points to Firefox? However, I want to keep Konqueror as a file browser...Firefox's file browser stinks

Thanks in advance.

If you are running KDE, go into KDE Menu >> Control Center >> File Associations >> Text >> HTML then add firefox there. That should help.

P.S: if you have problems finding File Associations under the messy KDE's Control Center, use the function "Search", also available under the Control Center!

Good luck!
