[SOLVED] getting kmplayer to play dvds

The compile versions works but it hesitates alot, is this a software related or is it that the system is too slow

I'd have to guess it might be the way it was compiled, which version did you get, and what configure options did you give it (if any)?

i got version 0.91 and didnt give config any options

Ok, this is SuSE 8.2, so I'm going to go out on a limb and assume it's running GCC 3.2 or later.. Let's see how things go with some options then:

export CFLAGS="march=pentium4 -O3" &&
CXXFLAGS=$CFLAGS 
./configure --with-runtime-cpudetection

Check:
./configure --help
For more info on the runtime-cpudetection and other options.
