Getting error : syntax error near unexpected token `&' .

Hi,
I am using arch with xfce.

When I restarted the application today, after login, my top bar is missing in all the applications that loaded from my session. I can launch new applications but cannot access the already opened ones.

I deleted the xfce4-session in ~/.config but got the same issue.

Then I noticed the below in tty1 when the system was booting after shutdown.

Code:
althor-pc login: bash: -c: line 0: syntax error near unexpected token `&'
bash: -c: line 0: ` &'
Please advice.Very urgent

I Deleted ~/.cache/session and now my xfce looks normal. But the error still persists. When i start my machine, all my filesystems are mounted without issues, daemons start without issues and slim login manager is also started. But the error in shown in tty1.

Quote:
I deleted auth.log from /var/log . the error is not cropping up now. But I don't know why this occured or why removing ~/.cache/session and /var/log/auth.log resolved the issue. If anyone has an idea, please post
