getting config from compiled kernel

I need to recompile my kernel with a new version of gcc. Problem is, I didn't compile the current one myself, but I need the new one to have exactly the same configuration as the old one.

Now, is there a way to get the config of the running kernel?

Thanks a lot in advance,

you can find you old config in your kernel source dir /usr/src/linux-(kernel-version) or you can copy the Config file in your /boot and use that one. they are both the same.
