Get Grub to Load Isolinux

Is it possible to get grub which is installed on a live cd to load isolinux on the same cd? I am trying to make a multiple distro live dvd and at the same time add a few grub entries to point to the hard drive. I figured that if I could get grub to load the isolinux.bin for each distro it would make the task a little easier.

Thanks but that was where I actually started the whole project. Instead of having grub boot ioslinux, they simply converted the isolinux.cfg files to menu.lst files.

What I basically want to do is chainload isolinux from grub.

1)... grub versus isolinux ... was the keyword for
google to find this
https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ub...er/020537.html
and probably some more ( 3220 hits )

So if you want to see how it is done, just
download 'the Warty live CD' (ubuntu)

And you might want to read this
http://www.gnu.org/software/grub/manual/grub.html

As 1) not always works, I would try to find a way
to let isolinux use or boot into a /grub which also
could to be on the DVD ... if I was forced to have
only 1 DVD.

(I wouldn't use such a solution at all. To use a
universal tool, I would have "Smart Boot Manager"
or something similar on a separate CD or floppy.
Will generate a new "menu list" every time you
have a new situation, and save it to RAM just
with a push on a button).

Good Luck.
