get a video

I have been looking at some funny video news stories from msnbc.
I would like to save them to show a class. I don't have internet in class.
If my browser is playing them, do I assume correctly that the video is somewhere on my computer? Can I save the video?

Check your /tmp drive for files ending in .flv. This should be the file you need - you'll probably have to rename it to something meaningful. There are also several video downloader plugins available.

about:cache in your web browser should give you realname access to that cache stuff. If you clear your cache beforehand it'll give you less to muddle through to find the right one.

Otherwise /tmp/Flash* is likely bet if we're talking youtube or vimeo. And various download tools, some of which are browser plugins.
