Question Gentoo 1.4 install from CD

Hi I would like to ask if it is possible to install Gentoo 1.4 only from CD media without connecting to the network. The reason is I'm having the whole ISO already burned to CD (download from linuxiso.org) but I have only dial up connection at home. There is section in Gentoo Installation manual mentioning that "you can install gentoo even without connecting to network" however it never mention any steps on doing it. I hope anyone can help. Thanks

it does mentions it in the instructions but you will need the CD2 in order to get apps. Just follow the instructions in how to do a GRP install in the Installation instructions.
