Question Gedit keeps reverting to a previous session after reboot

Hi.

I usually save my gedit session each day as I'd have many text files open at once. In Ubuntu Tweak I set it to remember my open applications after I reboot. Lately I've noticed that gedit keeps reverting to a previous session after reboot.

I can I resolve this?

Thanks.

Have you tried closing gedit before shutdown, and then reopening it after startup and see what happens?

I will try that. Also along with the gedit anomaly, this folder keeps opening {1st picture} upon login.

Update: I closed gedit and all open nautilus windows. After a reboot both are open automatically {2nd picture}!

Lightbulb

Got it!

Ubuntu Tweak >> Startup >> Session Control
Check box 'Automatically save open applications when logging out'
