GDM doesn't prompt me for default session

Hi all,

I am not getting the window with the two buttons that say "Do you want this to be your default session" or "Just this session". I have to manually select which session I want or else it always defaults to Gnome. Any ideas how I can fix this to ask me what session I want. I'm using Gentoo 2004.1

I have the same problem! I use fluxbox wm, but at every boot I have to select it because gdm have never asked me to change it to the default one... The last session manager is also gnome, even if I've never started it before! Some months has passed from your post: have you solved that trouble?

Thanks in advance
