gdesklets, where is the panel?


I installed gdesklets latest version from source on Slack 9.1 w/ Kernel 2.6.0. Im running dropline gnome, \


When i launch gdesklets --profile=trey

it runs some files, then nothing happens.. the window that is supposed to come up never comes up??

any ideas?
