gdesklets problem

Someone recommend I use this application called gdesklets...

Here it is in a screenshot Link

It is a program that keeps weather / system info like CPU load and memory usage on the desktop...

I know that this uses Gnome dependancies but was wondering if anyone can use this with KDE?

Thanks

No, gDesklets is only for Gnome. Karamba or Super-Karamba are for KDE. You can find out more about them at http://www.kde-look.org or by searching these forums.

As long as you have Gnome installed on your system alongside KDE, then you'll be able to run gDesklets while in KDE. This works because the gnome libraries are still installed on your system, and gDesklets can still use them.
