gdesklets crashes


im trying to run gdesklets on gentoo 2004.3 and ive never had a problem with it before but now whenever i try to run any display at all it crashes and this is there error it spits out.

File "/usr/local/lib/gdesklets/shell/ItemBrowser.py", line 114, in __on_activate_item

return self.__send(COMMAND_OPEN_DISPLAY, path)[0]
TypeError: unsubscriptable object

same problem here... is this a consistent problem with gentoo 2004.3 ?

i doubt it, gentoo is built from source straight from the net. may be a package that was installed. i have no idea
