gdesklets bonobo.ui won't create

Hi, I'm trying to install gdesklets. I've followed the instructions at threadid=187729
The problem is that gnome-python says it won't create bonobo.ui and a couple other files. And when i try to run gdesklets, it says it can't import bonobo.ui.

Any ideas on what I should do?

Well, as everyone says when people have trouble getting gDesklets to work - have you installed everything? Pygtk, Python-Gnome, the lot of it? It needs to be installed in a particular order, otherwise it won't compile in support for some things. If you're having trouble, I would advise you to compile _everything_ again, including gDesklets, and see if that helps. The other thing is - have you got gnome-libs installed? Everything appears to install without it, it took me a long time to realise that that was needed.
