gDesklet or gkrellm which is better?

I've seen many screenshots of applets working on desktops and I'm very impressed. I want to have applets for weather, calendar and cpu stats running on my desktop just like the screenshots that I've seen. I recently learned about the applets and know of two programs that do this: gDesklet and gkrellm. I run Gnome 2.6 on Suse 9.2 Pro so I figure that I should go with the gDesklet since its a Gnome based applet. I don't know which is better if any. Any help would be great. Thanks!

the only way to really know how they work is for you to use both, and decide what you like best..................I think gkrellm works best in KDE, as I don't have gnome on my LFS box........
