GDB fails with No Such process

Hi,
I run a multi-threaded program using gdb. After some time, gdb fails with
an error message, "Coudn't get registers: No such process".

I gave info threads, but it returned "Cannot fetch general-purpose registers for thread -129689665: generic error".

How do i determine which thread has crashed and fix it?

Thanks,
Dhanesh
