Has anyone been able to install or build gcdmaster?
I have a rather newly rebuilt system w/FC4 and a lot of the Planet CCRMA tweaks. I can install cdrdao (V1.1.9 or V1.2.0) but I cannot get cdrdao-gcdmaster-1.1.9 to install. It gives a pretty long list of dependency failures even though I have everything installed (most of what is actually installed is newer than the dependency requirements). I've tried building from source but keep getting the following error:
Making all in trackdb
make[2]: Entering directory `/home/randy/music/cdrdao-1.2.0/trackdb'
if g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I./../pccts/h -g -O2 -MT Cddb.o -MD -MP -MF ".deps/Cddb.Tpo" -c -o Cddb.o Cddb.cc; \
then mv -f ".deps/Cddb.Tpo" ".deps/Cddb.Po"; else rm -f ".deps/Cddb.Tpo"; exit 1; fi
FormatConverter.h:98: error: ‘Toc’ has not been declared
The description and screen shots make gcdmaster (and cdrdao) appear to very good at laying out and creating an audio CD's. I suppose I could build the TOC (Table of Contents) files manually but anything to make the process easier/quicker would be very appreciated. At the very least, I'd like to see it working and I don't understand why it won't install.
Yes, I got it working this past weekend. While looking for something else, I found this patch. The problem was the transition to gcc4, not something that I was doing incorrectly. The patch has apparently been posted in the CVS, but I didn't look there. There also seems to be multiple versions posted around the 'net but I know this one works correctly.
