Are you looking for something that is a dedicated firewall/router/gateway, if so, then I think IPCop and smoothwall, a bit of googling should give you enough information to know if these would be suitable.

I've used SmoothWall Express, 2 & recently 3, for roughly the last 6 years. I think I should move to IPCop because it is all open source.

Here are their WikipediaŽ pages: IPCop, SmoothWall;
and their home pages: IPCop, SmoothWall Express.

The IPCop WikipediaŽ page has the nicer list of other dedicated FW/gateway/router distros.

Your statements would carry more weight if they were more specific & included some facts ...

How? -- There are no bug reports containing 'dmx' here:

In what way? -- Again a specific complaint or an example. Is it a lack of OpenVPN support? Is it one of the 3 Open bugs that mention VPN?

I was upset when I posted. No dhcp or local DNS service is provided for the DMZ. The QoS is not fit for VoIP. I have to create custom chains in ssh to prevent my VoIP traffic from being dropped. I have to set the system clock over ssh because the GUI tool for the clock is broken. I can not get the VPN server to work. The Clarkconnect VPN worked for me every time. The distro lacks most of the modern fetures you find on other firewall distros like Smooth wall Clarkconnect or Untangle. An update has not been released in a VERY long time and the distro still uses a obsolete 2.4x kernel.
