Hi,
I am newbie in Linux ,and I try to compile and install Gnome 2.10.1.
In order to compile it, I use garnome 2.10.I download all packages and try to compile it but unfortunately when I want to “make” it I got error that it can not find “gconfmm-2.10.0” and 'bug-buddy-2.10.0” .
so I download them too ,when I want to install them I got the same error for another libraries ,and it is occurred the same, for the packages that they need...
So there is 3 questions:
1- Am I doing wrong ? because Garnome is used to compile and install Gnome easier and simpler!!
2-Is there any method that I find out which packages I must download to compile Garnome without getting any error.
3-If I want to compile Gnome without using Garnome,What should I do?
