game loading question
 

well, now that i have installed the fglrx for my RADEON i wanted to see how well does it work with games.
so, i downloaded tuxracer demo for linux, installed it and ran it.
now the all screen was really messed up, couldn't see a damn' thing....

it wasn't blank, just really messed up (tiles scattered arround the screen)

does any one have any suggestions?

Something wrong with the driver, I guess. Look into XFree logs (if you boot to GUI) or to the messages you get on console when you have startx (if you use console mode and run X using startx), there may be error message(s) with more info about the problem.

If you can't find anything, I think it's because of wrong driver. Check everything. Download and install it again (maybe there were a transmission error?).
