Gallery2 in Linux (Debian/Etch)
 

Hi:

I've installed gallery2 in my Debian Etch.
It works find except the "URL rewrite module"

I've install the "mod_rewrite" (The is shown by
http://teacher.blmcss.edu.hk/phpinfo.php)

However, when I test the module by gallery2, it fails.

Thus, I cannot activate the URL rewrite and Permalinks.

I don't know what to do. Pls. help.

did you chmod 666 /usr/share/gallery2/.htaccess?

The .htaccess is set to 666.

then i think you have to "configure" it through the admin plugins page. i think there's a link that says "activate" or "configure," keep following the links, and then iirc there's a button that activates it.
