galeon + cups + postscript + epson + printer
i have an epson stylus color 900 and when trying to print from galeon i get the epson stylus color 900 in the print dialog box on the desktop but only get a postscript printer on the laptop.
i have installed and used cups several times. it is a little tricky to use the gimp-print-ijs over the default epson, but i can usualy get it. this time i am stuck with a default postscript printer in galeon. it works fine on my desktop, i select print and i only see epson-stylus-color-900 as a printer. but on my laptop i only see postscript. the postscript does not have the right margins and prints way off center. do i have something installed wrong? is there a different printing method on newer versions of galeon? the laptop version is a little newer than the desktop. mozilla and firefox have the postscript printer too. but gedit prints fine and shows the epson-stylus-color in the print dialog.
