Gaim: Yahoo can't connect
 

I use Fedora Core 2. This gaim package is installed "gaim-0.77-6". I use MSN, AIM with no problems. However, I expereince problems with Yahoo connection, it won't connect.

Any ideas what can cause this problem?

the package there is old for the new yahoo protocol

use the new gaim .81 and above

gaim.sourceforge.net

I just update the package to gaim-0.82-0.FC2.src.rpm, but still cannot connect.

u have u sed the .src.rpm

did u build the rpm first???

and i got myself gaim-0.80.tar.bz2
from sourceforge.net and it is working fine
since i have some dependency problem with rpm packages

that should work for u
