Hi, I'm running Suse 8.2 and I am trying to update to Gaim 1.1.2-2 .
I downloaded the rpm file gaim-1.1.2-2.guru.suse82.i686 butI get the following failed dependencies:
libaspell-common-0.50.2.50, libaspell.so.15
Ok so i downloaded aspell-0.50.2-74 with the above dependencies.
But when I try to install it I get :
<st '//home/Seagreen/Documents/aspell-0.50.2-78.i586.rpm';echo RESULT=$?
error: failed dependencies:
libpspell.so.4 is needed by gtkspell-2.0.2-1
RESULT=1

I have pspell-0.12.2-14.i386.rpm installed with libpspell.so.4
OK. Ive now managed to install gaim 1.1.2-2 but for some reason it cannot find libgtkspell.so.o
I have gtkspell 2.05-2suse82 installed.

How can I fix this?

Try downloading the file from here. Should resolve your dependency issues.

Thanks. The suse82 file on the guru site worked fine after rebooting. Dependencies satisfied.
