Gaim Support With Evolution

I compiled Gaim 1.0.3 from source because I do not like to use the Fedora Core created ones and it does not have the support for Evolution in it. I've done lots of searching around and had no luck in finding out why. When looking through the make, the 'Gevolution' plugin doesn't even seem to be made. When trying to 'make' it seperate I get errors. When the Fedora Core one was installed, it did have the support in it. Thanks.
